Bring Out Your Dead

Here’s another great screenshot from Light of Vega, who has put up a web page with the full resolution version of this and 14 other shots at: http://math.ut.ee/~lawrey/gw/

This shot was taken in Lion’s Arch right after I upgraded Trina’s warrior armor to a complete Wyvern set (one of the level 10 armors).

Here’s a shot with a close-up of one of the glowing green dragons that appeared at the end of the beta weekend.

I’m in the middle behind the flying cape of the completely tattoo-covered monk. 🙂

This shot takes us back in time to last month, standing near the henchmen in the guild hall.

One of the most noticible things for me is the old guild tabbard (which was replaced by the current guild cape), which shows the design that I originally created for the guild with a dark blue stripe. When the capes were introduced, the blue shifted to a much lighter shade – which there is so far no way to correct without re-making the guild (and yes, I’ve filed a couple of bug reports so far 🙂 ).

Today’s screenshot finds us somewhere outside of Lion’s Arch. Since I wasn’t along on this expedition, I’ll let the people who were fill in the details in the comments. 🙂

In keeping with the previous open and beta weekends, the end of the game was marked by a gathering of the developers in Lion’s Arch district 1 for a little fun as only the developers can have. I’ve included a few pictures below, which show:

1) Everyone lying face down in the dirt after one of the developer’s various abuses. 🙂

2) The middle of an attack by several very large, glowing, undead dragons.

3) My character standing next to Gaile, who is in charge of ArenaNet’s community relations (I’m on the left of the huge warrior, Gaile’s in purple on the right)

4) Setting everyone on fire with a huge fire storm.

ArenaNet has given us all an early Christmas present!
